Photograph album compiled by William Heim (1861-1930) of Saginaw that documents a camping trip in northern Michigan that most likely took place around the area of Mullett Lake in Cheboygan County. Contents consist of images of a campsite, the lake, young men canoeing, a forest, and a family standing on a residential street as well as views of several residences (perhaps summer vacation homes) and an image of Pikes Tavern. Also present is a studio portrait of Heim's wife Dorothea Nerriter Heim (1863-1948) taken ca. 1887 as well as 8 family snapshots from the 1920s. Includes 33 photographs. Volume 26 x 36 cm.

Binder containing collection of photographs, schematics, blueprints, and inspection guidelines for Michigan Central Railroad buildings. Of note is an announcement that Bath Mills, Michigan, will no longer be a "regular billing station" as of September 1st 1890, pre-inventory M C-V 8 data forms (including photographs) detailing 25 different railroad buildings dated from 1919 to 1920, and assorted blueprints and schematics. Also present are schematics for water towers, and paperwork including "Specifications for inspection shed," instructions to bidders, and responsibility of the contractor. Most of the stations and structures that are documented are on the Detroit Tunnel, Midland, South Haven, and South Bend branches of the M.C.R.R. Includes 28 photographs, 25 M C-V 8 forms, 38 blueprints and schematics, 16 pages of specifications, and 1 circular. Volume 29 x 26 cm.

Collection of mugshots mounted on identification cards from a variety of Michigan police departments and correctional facilities. The first 12 ID cards contain front and profile view portraits as well as identifying features, fingerprints, criminal convictions, and sentences. Also present are 3 ID cards serving as reward advertisements to aid in the capture of escaped criminals, an ID card from the arrest of a young man in 1898, and an ID card produced by the Michigan Central Railroad documenting a man accused of being a communist and member of a criminal syndicate. Includes 18 photographs. Folder 29 x 24 cm.

Collection assembled by David V. Tinder containing modern negatives and reprints of historic images of interurban railroads in Michigan including lines in Lansing, Saginaw, Flint, and Detroit. Identification information provided by Michigan streetcar expert Jack Schram is also present. Includes 42 negatives with photocopies of printed photographs, 4 contact sheets, and 2 photographs.
