Collection of mugshots mounted on identification cards from a variety of Michigan police departments and correctional facilities. The first 12 ID cards contain front and profile view portraits as well as identifying features, fingerprints, criminal convictions, and sentences. Also present are 3 ID cards serving as reward advertisements to aid in the capture of escaped criminals, an ID card from the arrest of a young man in 1898, and an ID card produced by the Michigan Central Railroad documenting a man accused of being a communist and member of a criminal syndicate.
