Photograph album compiled by an unidentified young man documenting his time at two Civilian Conservation Corps camps: Camp Ogemaw in West Branch, Michigan, and CCC Camp 1609 in Illinois. Contents consist of images of men at work and posing for group portraits as well as views of camp buildings, construction projects, landscapes, military-style drilling, and deer (both alive and dead following a hunt). Contents consist of individual and group portraits of women engaged in various activities, images featuring Michigan State College buildings and campus, winter scenes, and views of a river and wooded area. Also present is a handwritten recipe. Includes approximately 233 photographs and 1 piece of ephemera. Volume 31.5 x 36.5 cm.
