Volume 131, Tinder Albums [Tinder A.2.1921]

Photograph album compiled by Aloysius A. Deimel (ordained as a Catholic priest in 1933) containing images related to Deimel's time at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, Michigan, and Mt. St. Mary Seminary in Norwood, Ohio. Of particular interest are identified portraits of staff and students as well as images of campus, buildings, student life (including plays, sports, band practice, and a snowball fight), and ceremonies. Also present are newspaper articles related to Sacred Heart's founding and mission, a report card from Deimel's first year at Sacred Heart, and a card advertising a minstrel show put on by students in 1923. Includes approximately 1305 photographs, 6 pieces of ephemera, and 1 postcard. Volume 26 x 33 cm.
