Volume 074, Tinder Albums [Tinder A.1.1920.4]

Souvenir album related to Michigan State Prison in Jackson, Michigan, including images of inmates performing daily tasks and laboring on various job sites (such as a canning factory, granite works, sawmill, clay pit, and three separate prison farms) as well as interior views of prison and factory spaces. Also present is a fold-out panoramic view of the prison and a portrait of prison warden Harry L. Hulbert. Includes 56 photographs. Volume 22 x 14.5 cm.

Photograph album related to an unidentified family that appears to have been associated with the Benton Harbor Baking Co. of Benton Harbor, Michigan. Of note are images of delivery trucks in St. Joseph, Michigan, bearing the logo of "City Bakery," the Benton Harbor Baking Co. bakery, a postmortem portrait of an older man in his casket, a wedding, and an unidentified memorial. Photograph album related to an unidentified family based in Fostoria, Ohio. Contents consist of images taken in Ann Arbor and Adrian in Michigan as well as Fostoria, Freemont, and Oberlin in Ohio. Captions identify many people and places represented. Of note are images of an automobile with the words "In case of fire, break glass; Fostoria, Ohio; Noah's Ark by Heck" painted on, portraits of a young woman in commencement garb, a steamboat on Lake Michigan, and portraits of various people. The name Ollivine Suddoris and date of August 1925 is written in white ink inside the album's front cover. Includes 56 photographs. Volume 14.5 x 21 cm.

Promotional album of real photo postcards documenting aspects of the Detroit Silver Fox Farms of Rochester, Michigan. Of note are images of administrative buildings, fox pens, live foxes, women wearing fox stoles, and company president F. W. Craft with his pet fox. Also present are several charts demonstrating potential growth designed to encourage investment as well as a production chart detailing output from 1922 to 1924. Includes 28 real photo postcards. Volume 9.5 x 17.5 cm.
