Photograph album containing images related to the Chicago Automobile Association's "Around Lake Michigan" Reliability Run race event in 1912. Of note are captioned views that show the Wisconsin state capitol building in Madison under construction, automobile service and sales companies, a paper mill, and scenes from locations in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (including Hancock/Houghton and Escanaba). Also present are uncaptioned images of automobiles navigating rough terrain, damage to vehicles, vehicles being loaded onto railroad cars and a ferry, and a racetrack. Includes 60 photographs. Volume 15.5 x 19 cm.

Souvenir album containing photomechanical reproductions of views of Negaunee, Michigan, taken by photographer William H. Israel. The album begins with an essay about Negaunee's history, location, and population written by Walter C. Hornstein. Of note are images of monuments to the iron industry, the city's "Common Council," various municipal buildings, the First National Bank, mines, miners, mine offices, mining machinery, street scenes, numerous businesses (including banks, lumber companies, clothing stores, furniture makers, hotels, undertakers, bakeries, grocers, breweries, jewelers, billiard parlors, and the Marquette County Gas and Electric Company), fire teams, residences, churches, winter sports, animals, the high school, the sanatorium and hospital, the Marquette County Courthouse, and the Upper Peninsula Branch prison. Also present is an image of a barber shop that specializes in haircuts for children that includes an advertisement for William H. Israel's photography studio. The album was published by William H. Israel with assistance from F. R. Loukes. Includes 117 photomechanical prints. Volume 15 x 22.5 cm.
