Contents consist of snapshots of deer hunting in northern Michigan, Powell's home and barn, women and men posing with guns, and numerous hunting camp life scenes. Mitchell Bros. Co. Department Store, ca. 1904-1910
Photograph album containing real photo postcard views produced by Edward L. Beebe of the Mitchell Brothers Company Department Store in Jennings, Michigan. The Mitchell brothers founded the town of Jennings as a lumbering center in 1883 and by 1896 owned the department store. Images include exterior shots (one of which shows employees posing with horse-drawn wagons), and interior shots showing men, women, children, clothing, fabrics, groceries, furniture, a butcher counter, etc. The first page contains information about the Mitchell Brothers Co.
