Detroit and Minnesota photograph album, 1897-1901
Photograph album containing views of Detroit, Michigan, as well as Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota. Detroit-based images of note are photographs of Woodward Avenue, the post office, Campus Martius, Belle Isle (including the old casino that was demolished in 1908), and the Governor's mansion labeled as "Gov. [Hazen S.] Pingree's residence". Minnesotan images include views of Minnehaha Falls, Fort Snelling, High Bridge, the Mississippi River, and a farmhouse in Morristown. Includes 51 photographs.
