Photograph album documenting construction of dams at various unidentified locations in Michigan by the Commonwealth Power Company. Contents consist of views showing different stages in construction processes, laborers at work and posing for the camera, and housing for the laborers and their families. Of note is one picture of a steam powered earthmover machine, images showing women and children (likely family members of laborers), and an image of a company baseball team. Includes 29 photographs. Volume 17.5 x 26.5 cm.

Photograph album related to Alice Knapp of Orange Township, Michigan. Contents consist of studio portraits (mostly taken between 1860s to 1890s) as well as newspaper clippings such as wedding announcements, a "Card of Thanks" from Flora Fitzgerald following the death of her mother, an announcement of the arrival of James Rogers from Tacoma, Washington, a write-up of Mrs. B. H. Carter's surprise birthday party on August 13th 1909, a poem about "The History of Eaton Rapids Hive given on the Sixth Anniversary, October 15, 1908, by The R.K.," and two death notices. Includes 6 cartes de visite and 21 tintypes. Volume 13.5 x 17 cm.
