Will allow Ellen to return to his father's house on the condition that they provide payment to cover here expenses and are "allowed to have Her when we come back." Agreeing to this arrangement because an Indian Agent from California has encouraged him to work as a subagent in the Indian Department at the Nome Lackee Reservation. "… if I should succeed in obtaining that situation would place me considerable distance from a school consiquently we would have to send Her some distance to a boarding school." "We are consigning to You Our only Child[.] You know a Parents solicitude for the welfare of a child[.] You know the many things we would wish to have done for Her." See also Perry W.
