Charles Martyn subseries contains materials relating to the Jazz Band members experiences. The subseries includes copies of photographs, Mr. Martyn's reminiscences, and audio recordings of Jazz Band performances.

The Loren Mayhew sub-series contains a transcript of the diary he kept during the tour.

The Jack McKimmy sub-series is composed of pins from the tour. One of them is from the Goskoncert (piano pin), the soviet organization that sponsored their tour through the Soviet Union. Others include Belarusian and Russian pins.

Sinta's postcards home; a note from the audience that was passed to the Band members after February 28 concert in Moscow; contents of the 1961 Tour scrapbook with original 1961 clippings and programs, as well as photos from the 1984 Band reunion (contents have been removed from the original binder); correspondence and other items related to the 1981 and 2011 reunions.

The Stanley Towers sub-series is made up of a scrapbook, compiled by his grandmother Edith Stanley, and two books purchased on the trip; a copy of Uncle Tom's Cabin with Russian preface and guide and a n Anthology of Georgian Poetry.
