The Dividend Magazine series is divided into two subseries: Negatives and Proofs, and Photographs. The two subseries have some overlap in the material they contain, but each includes some unique material as well. The majority of the material in the Negatives and Proofs subseries is from 1973-1978, and documents student life, faculty, classroom activities, various lecture series, Dean Bond, and the construction of Paton Accounting Center. There is also some material documenting women and African Americans at the school, as well as Gerald Ford's visit to the school in 1977.

The Photographs subseries contains material primarily from 1977 to 1989. In addition to documenting many of the same types of people and activities as the negatives and proofs do, the photographs also show the construction of the Business Administration Library and some of the activities of Dean Whitaker.
