The Discretionary Fund, 1987-2000 series contains requests for funds from faculty, departments, and units. The sub-series are organized according to fiscal year, and the files within each sub-series are arranged alphabetically. The discretionary fund is managed by OVPR. Requests for funding include coverage of research expenses and equipment, publication subventions, conference attendance costs, performance expenses, and symposium/conference organization costs. Funding ranges from hundreds to hundreds-of-thousands of dollars.
