The Invited Speakers subseries consists of 13 audio cassettes and one Digital Audio Tape (DAT) dated between 1983 and 1998 that highlight important speakers who have come to the University for events not related to graduations or commencements. This includes Gerald Ford's appearances at events for the 1983 Campaign for Michigan Fund Drive, The Dalai Lama's 1994 visit, and Hillary Rodham Clinton's 1998 appearance for the Year of the Humanities and the Arts lectures and speeches.
