The Medical and Health Sciences News Clips and Promotions subseries consists of 71 tapes of mixed video formats including VHS, U-matic, Betacam, and DVCam tape documenting promotional materials produced on the theme of medical and health sciences at the University of Michigan. This subseries includes anniversary events of important medical developments by the UM Hospital and Medical Center such as the anniversary of the development of the Salk Vaccine for polio, as well as public health announcements and news coverage of activities at the UM Medical Center.
