The Friends of Matthaei Botanical Gardens series, 1974-2002 (1.8 linear feet) is organized into two subseries: Administration and Organizational History. The Administration subseries consists of documents generated during the administrative and routine functions of the organization, such as agendas, minutes and correspondence. The Organizational History subseries comprises documents created or saved by the organization because they document the group's history. Of particular note are the organizational materials relating to the development of the Friends and scrapbooks of newspaper clippings about the Friends. This series continues in Box 14.
