The series Administrators is organized by name of administrator; those represented are mostly assistant or associate deans. One file, Assistant Dean--Admissions, contains material from several administrators who held this post, and is organized topically. The period represented here, 1954 to 1979, covers the advent of, and subsequent controversy over, affirmative action, also found in the records under "special admissions."
