One of the compact discs reproduces the contents of the five Recordio disks, described as: 1. Nabiha and Carl Karoub, singing with family and friends an old Arabic song they learned from their mother, Miriam Karoub. 'Ah Ya Asmar El Loun.' 2. Same group singing another Arabic folk song, 'A Ruzana.' 3. Two recordings of Muhammad 'Mike' Karoub singing 'Bint El Shufta on the Corner' ('The Girl I Saw on the Corner'), written by Athman Karoub, brother of Imam Hussien Karoub. This is a tongue-in-cheek lament about American women taking all of his money. One recording is much longer, with more verses. 4. Muhammad 'Mike' Karoub singing 'Inti Suri Biladi,' a patriotic song promoting Arab unity that he and his siblings learned in the 1920s/30s. 5. Snippets of early French horn from Carl 'Khaled' Karoub, playing from memory fragments, including 'Bali Hai' from 'South Pacific,' Dvorak's 'Ninth Symphony' and Brahms' 'First.' Earlier track on same record has Carl and his family on 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.'
