Interlochen (Subject) College of Creative Arts contains planning materials, 1966-1968. They include the prospectus for the college, which Maddy submitted a month before his death, and subsequent follow-up materials. Researchers should also check the indexed correspondence for Alden Dow, who did the architectural planning for the college, as well as the Post-Maddy Administrators Karl Haas and Boards Trustees sub-subseries during the late 1960's and early 1970's.

The yearly operational files, 1962-1976, include mainly mimeographed items but also some correspondence and, in the early years, Maddy notes. Information on off-campus tours can be found in Interlochen "Special Events" of this sub-subseries, and Maddy speeches in Subject Maddy "Publications."
