The 1984-1994 subseries (4 linear ft.) is comprised of administrative files created within the Computing Center division. There is, however, material created by other ITD divisions and projects. The earliest material in the series is a cluster of documentation relating to MicroGroup. This group, formed at the request of Aaron Finerman, Director, Computer Center, in 1983. The formation of the group was a response to IBM's announcement of the "personal computer." By 1987, increased demand for personal computers dispersed this group into the overall ITD organization structure.
