The Visual Materials subseries is arranged by country, site or location, and alphabetically. The bulk of photographs, negatives, and color slides document sites in Turkey and Syria. Multi-site, or multi-country sites, include groupings of visual materials that could not be organized at the item level. Unless format is noted, all materials in this subseries are black and white photographs of various sizes. Please note that images were identified and grouped together based on Forsyth's labels; spelling of sites or locations may differ from current or originating language spellings.
