The 1972-2010 subseries is exceptionally sizable and, among several topics, has three particularly strong subject areas. A large number of files focus on auto industry projects, the development of the GM PRISM project team, and efforts to reduce automotive toxic emissions. Another extensive section of this subseries contains the documents and files of councils and committees, various campaigns, and records of grants the Center has applied for. The grants are organized alphabetically according to granting organization. The third subject area includes environmental education materials, focusing largely on groundwater education, and the continuing efforts of Recycle Ann Arbor.
