Contents mainly consist of cyanotypes showing the student at home prior to leaving for college, school break visits back home, groups of students at parties and other gatherings (sometimes in costumes), dorm interiors, campus activities, and athletics (including baseball teams and football players). Also present are a few snapshots documenting a trip to Cambridge, Massachusetts, and New York City. Includes 75 photographs. Volume 28 x 21.5 cm.

Two photographically illustrated books documenting Montrose Township, Michigan, with photographs by Charles F. Haight. Contains text describing early history of Montrose Township including important citizens, businesses, and community members who served in the Civil War and Spanish American War, as well as images of streets, storefronts, landmarks, a bridge, fairgrounds, churches, hotels, schools, and private residences with family members posing in front. Volumes A and B each contain 36 photographs and are nearly identical except for several images printed from alternative negatives while there are also differences in the residences that are profiled. Photograph album documenting the Maccabee Temple in Port Huron, Michigan, headquarters of the Knights of the Maccabees and Ladies of the Maccabees. Contains exterior and interior views of the temple as well as images of office spaces with people working (mostly women). Also present are numerous images of filing rooms lined with drawers and office supplies. Includes 54 photographs. Volume 30.5 x 38.5 cm.

Postcard album compiled by an unidentified family containing commercial and amateur real photo postcards. Contents consist of numerous portraits of men, women, couples, children, dogs, and family groups as well as group portraits of sports teams (including men's baseball, soccer, and basketball teams and women's basketball teams), school groups and various clubs, and views of streets, residences, and buildings in Michigan cities such as Lakeview, Edmore, Morely, Alma, and Stanton. Also present are images of people partaking in leisure activities like boating, fishing, deer hunting, swimming, and cycling, an image of Alma College, and five images of a young man with an airplane (two of which show the plane flying). Includes approximately 156 real photo postcards. Volume 23 x 17 cm.

Photograph album likely associated with an unidentified church administrator or minister. The album begins with an index of subjects on the inside of the front cover. Locations represented include Muskegon, Kalamazoo, Byron Center, Fruitport, and Jackson in Michigan as well as Orange City, Iowa. Of note are images of the Second Reformed Church and Parsonage in Muskegon, Sunday school picnics, Ladies' Aid Society members, other churches and parsonages, mission trips, a synod meeting, and the photographer's family (especially his daughters). Also present are images of street scenes, children with an organ grinder and monkey, fire fighting, a car receiving a roadside tire change, lakeshore views midwinter, American soldiers departing in 1917, President Theodore Roosevelt and Vice President Thomas R. Marshall visiting Kalamazoo, various parades, interiors and exteriors of homes, farm facilities, and views of Lake Michigan Park. Includes approximately 400 photographs. Volume 34 x 26 cm.

Collection of photographs documenting amusement parks and carnivals in Michigan housed in a three-ring binder. Of note are images of Eastwood Park in Detroit (including views of the water park, fun house, children on various rides, a small-scale train, clowns, and a fire in May of 1936 in which three people were killed), two images of Wolff's Park in Detroit, an image of a carnival in Hamtramck presented by Happy Land Shows, and images of unidentified carnivals showing Ferris wheels, merry-go-rounds, and other rides. Also present are numerous newspaper clippings that correspond to specific images as well as ephemeral items such as tickets for the Eastwood Ballroom and rides, a program for a Marathon Dance at the Eastwood Ballroom in 1930, a souvenir silhouette from 1937, and a postcard image of a couple married at Eastwood Ballroom in 1933. Includes 33 photographs, 4 pieces of ephemera, and newspaper clippings. Volume 29.5 x 26 cm.

Personal collection of Floyd L. Maxwell of Dearborn, Michigan, compiled during his employment with the Detroit, Jackson and Chicago Electric Railway housed in a three-ring binder. Contents consist of photographs of Michigan interurban railway route maps as well as images of streetcars and trolleys, towns and buildings along railway routes, railway employees posing with streetcars, and streetcar and locomotive accidents. Numerous images have handwritten captions provided by Maxwell while also present are two newspaper clippings regarding the end of electric railway service. Many of the photographs are modern copy prints. Includes 172 photographs and 2 newspaper clippings. Volume 29.5 x 26.5 cm.

Photograph album containing images related to the Kerry & Hanson Flooring Co. of Grayling, Michigan. Contents mainly consist of images that document the different stages involved in the manufacturing of wood flooring. Also present are portraits of Chief David Shoppenagon (a Saginaw Ojibwa man who was the advertising face of the company), several views of Grayling, an image of the company office, and a Kerry & Hanson Flooring Co. business card including Chief Shoppenagon's likeness. Includes 50 photographs and 1 piece of ephemera. Volume 28.5 x 39 cm.

Of note are images of properties held by subsidiary Grand Rapids, Grand Haven and Muskegon Railway Co. including depots, shops, a car barn, docks, bridges, and a power house as well as images of a machine shop interior in Fruitport, Michigan, steel bridges and interurban railway tracks on Main Street in Grand Haven, Michigan, views of Chattanooga (including the gas plant with interior shots of compressors), and powerplants and gas works in La Porte.
