Dean's Correspondence, Robert C. Metcalf, 1974-1987 (2.3 linear feet) primarily consists of Dean Metcalf's daily correspondence from 1974 to 1987. It is chronologically arranged; most is out-going, although sometimes incoming correspondence is attached. The correspondence also includes letters written by Assistant Dean Herbert Johe and Robert M. Beckley, who was dean designate in 1986. Subjects cover the entire range of activities performed by a college dean.
