1804 Juin 25 [June 6, 1804]. Manuscript copy of a letter to R. B. Forbes at New York. Has not heard from Forbes. Received a letter from Meade dated February sixth stating that he will do everything he can to help in the coffee plantation in Cuba. Meade sold a large part of his goods and, if he followed Rousselin's advice, he forwarded the amount to Forbes. Address the American consul Beklyei or to consul Défligny at Jamaica. Opportunities are less rare for Jamaica than Santiago de Cuba.
