Abstract:
One volume recipe book (99 pages). Most recipes are for cakes (Lady Washington cake, tricolor), cookies, and puddings (Revere pudding, queen of puddings). Some recipes have attributions (several to "Mother"). Multiple recipes appear to be copied from the pamphlet McMonagel and Rogers Premium Fruit Flavors Cooking Recipes Middletown N.Y. Established 1868. Knitting pattern for a baby sack and a recipe for tonic pills. Includes paper inserts with recipes, one dated 1893.
