Of note are images of children engaged in various activities, people riding bicycles, streets and storefronts, various landmarks (including the Koppitz-Melchers Brewing Company), home interiors, U.S. Mail wagons, a policeman in uniform, a streetcar, the Detroit River, steam-powered ferries, the aftermath of a fire, a telegraph operator, parades, Christmas trees, a holy shrine, and nun in habit. Also present are images of a black child in shorts sitting on a pylon outside of "Alder's Bath House," a woman holding a Courrier des Etates-Unis newspaper, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the Old Detroit Opera House, a train arriving at a station, and a cyanotype family portrait.
