The Publications/Articles sub-series contains papers, correspondence, notes and articles. Some of the papers were written by Leacock while others were used by Leacock for her study. Materials are arranged alphabetically by topic or author last name.
The Correspondence sub-series includes general and professional correspondence regarding Leacock's study in Samoa. Materials are arranged alphabetically by last name.
The Newspapers sub-series includes newspapers and articles from local newspapers, such as Wester Samoa, and the YMCA of Oahu. Materials are arranged alphabetically by topic or newspaper name.
The Field Materials sub-series includes Leacock's field notes, correspondence, drafts, and maps from Leacock's incomplete study in Samoa. Materials are arranged topically.
The Background Materials sub-series includes reports, articles, notes, and papers. Leacock was studying education and suicide rates in Samoa and so many of these resources pertain to education, suicide among youth, and Samoa.
